ABOUT 6:8 SECURITY SOLUTIONS

Equipping Churches to Prepare — with Purpose

Equipping churches to prepare responsibly for emergencies—so God’s people can gather, be strengthened, and go forth to serve and spread the Gospel.

This mission shapes everything we do.

We exist to help churches build capability, confidence, and readiness in ways that support their ministry, hospitality, and service—without fear, ego, or theatrics, and with a clear understanding of the seriousness involved.

WHO we Are:

6:8 Security Solutions is a church-focused safety and preparedness organization dedicated to serving faith-based communities through training, guidance, and ongoing partnership.

We believe that preparedness enables ministry to flourish — and that safety should strengthen the church’s mission, not detract from it.

Our work is rooted in responsibility, restraint, and service, recognizing that safeguarding people may involve confronting real danger and making high-consequence decisions with humility and accountability.

'…Those who carried materials did their work with one hand and held a weapon in the other, '
Nehemiah 4:17

What We Do:

We provide practical training and support tailored to the realities of church environments, including:

  • Emergency preparedness seminars

  • Active threat and emergency response training

  • Medical and emergency care training

  • Scenario-based training and rehearsals

  • Long-term safety partnerships and support

Our services may take the form of a single seminar or a sustained partnership, depending on a church’s needs, maturity, and readiness goals.

How We Serve Churches:

Churches are unique places — open to all, staffed by volunteers, filled with families, and driven by a mission to share hope. Those qualities make ministry powerful, and they also create challenges that cannot be addressed with one-size-fits-all approaches.

We help churches:

  • Train their own teams rather than relying solely on external providers

  • Build confidence through preparation grounded in reality, not fear

  • Improve awareness, judgment, and decision-making under pressure

  • Develop practical plans volunteers can understand and execute

  • Sustain readiness as teams, facilities, and threats change

Our role is not to replace church leadership — it is to partner with it, supporting ministry while strengthening readiness.

Our Training Philosophy:

We believe effective preparedness is:

  • Calm, capable, and measured

  • Prevention-focused, not reactionary

  • Rooted in clarity under pressure

  • Grounded in professionalism and restraint

Training is not about intensity for its own sake — it is about readiness for moments that carry real risk and real consequence.

We prepare teams to respond decisively when necessary, and to exercise restraint when appropriate, ensuring actions align with moral responsibility, legal standards, and the mission of the church.

Who We Serve:

We partner with:

  • Churches of all sizes

  • Safety and security ministries

  • Pastors, elders, and church leadership

  • Volunteer safety teams

  • Faith-based organizations and ministries

We approach every engagement with respect for a church’s culture, calling, and mission.
